Apple has re-stocked refubrished units of the Mac mini. The Mac mini is the cheapest Mac model, and as such, it usually sells out quickly when it surfaces in refurbished fashion.

Both Core 2 Duo (current generation) models are being offered for sale. The 1.83 GHz variant is being sold at $499 ($100 off), and the 2.0 GHz variant is being sold at $679 ($120 off).

The Mac mini makes an excellent HTPC (Home Theater PC) Mac, but is even better for replacing an older PowerPC Mac (it is three to six times faster than the PowerPC G4).
